Who we are

What we collect and why
Quote request. Name and email (required, as we can't reply without them) and, if you give them, phone, company, type of request, quantity, date and message. We use them to answer your request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Once answered, we keep the request for 24 months, to follow up on orders and on requests that come back from one season to the next (company Christmas gifts, for example). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time and we will delete it.
Opening notice. If you tick the box, we send you one email when the shop opens. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by replying to that email or writing to info@castaeoficio.pt. The list is deleted after that email is sent.
Visit statistics. Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the page is used. Google Analytics only loads if you click "Accept" (see Cookies). Legal basis: consent.
We make no automated decisions and no profiling.
Who processes data for us
- Google (Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Apps Script and, if you accept, Google Analytics): stores requests and receives the notification email for each one.
- Vercel (page hosting and cookie-free statistics).
- Cloudflare (DNS and forwarding of info@castaeoficio.pt).
All three are based in the United States. The transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), under which they are certified: Google, Vercel, Cloudflare.
Cookies
Without your consent, this page sets no cookies. We only store, in your browser, the choice you made on the cookie notice and the language you prefer, so we don't ask again.
If you click "Accept", Google Analytics sets:

You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookies" link in the footer.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restrict or object to its processing, ask for portability, and withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting what was done before. Just write to info@castaeoficio.pt.
If you believe your data was not handled properly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
